Launch Training started because we got tired of watching people buy expensive cameras and then... nothing. They'd take blurry photos, mess with settings they didn't understand, and eventually the camera would sit in a drawer gathering dust. That's frustrating. So we built something different—courses that actually make sense. We don't throw jargon at you or pretend photography's some mystical art only geniuses can master. It's not. You learn the fundamentals, practice them, and suddenly your photos don't look like your toddler took them anymore. Simple as that. We're based in Ostrava, but we work with people all over because good teaching should be available to everyone.
Over time, we’ve built a reputation for reliability, quality, and clear communication. We treat each project as a partnership and aim for outcomes that last.
Our Story
We launched in 2016 when our founder got frustrated teaching photography in traditional settings—you know, the stuffy kind. The curriculum was outdated, the teaching felt disconnected from how people actually learn, and nobody was having fun. So we scrapped it. Started over. Spent the next 18 months talking to photographers, watching what stuck and what didn't, and building courses that actually worked. By 2019 we'd trained 347 people. Now it's way more than that, and we're still learning how to teach better every single day.

Teach real photography skills to real people without the pretension. We break down complicated concepts into bite-sized pieces, give you actual assignments (not busywork), and help you develop a style that's uniquely yours. That's it. No complicated promises, just solid instruction.

Founder & Lead Instructor
Started in photography as a desperate hobby to escape his corporate job. Spent 8 years shooting weddings, events, and anything else before realizing teaching was actually where he belonged. Still shoots regularly—mostly light and architecture obsessions.
Petra Svobodová
Course Development
Former graphic designer who realized photography could tell stories better than any design could. Builds curriculum based on what actually works, not what sounds good in theory. Drinks an embarrassing amount of coffee while testing assignments.

Spent the last decade chasing light across the Czech Republic and beyond. Patient teacher who somehow explains technical stuff without making your head hurt. Genuinely loves helping people see nature differently through a lens.
